New York State Census 2020 Data Report
In 2021, the New York State Census Equity Fund commissioned an independent evaluation of its work. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the census data was delayed by several months. The Fund decided to release a second report that would analyze data collected during the 2020 Census, separate from the Fund’s activities supporting community-based groups’ get-out-the-count efforts. This companion report includes census-tract level analysis, case studies, and highlights how the New York State Census Equity Fund worked towards a complete and accurate count.

The case study is expected to be released in the winter of 2023.
